Potty Training- Two down, one to go

"Don't help me!!"

Harper modeling her "Eight" pair of panties
Harper has been wearing big girl underwear since the middle of March and Hadlee threw her diaper away on April 22nd. WoW how our life has changed in less than a month. When Harper was potty training I really couldn't tell what a difference it was because she likes to go potty all the time. There is definitely a difference with adding one more to the big girl underwear users club. For the first week the washing machine was running non-stop and I really thought if we get a dog it will be an outside ONLY one but after that first week (or two), we're now living on easy street. I love not changing diapers especially dirty ones. Instead of five or six garbage bags we maybe put out four sometimes three a week. I haven't seen a difference in the extra money we'll be saving but it has got to be there. I think I might start potty training Hays as soon as his cast is off.

Happy Mother's Day

I don't have many pictures of the kids and me because I'm always the one taking the pictures. Rosemary took these after the parade on Saturday so I could have more pictures with the three almost 3 year olds.

I snapped the other pictures at the park this morning. We played, ate lunch and fed the ducks our leftovers. They have brave ducks in Brenham- definitely worthy of a picture next time.

Jesus Loves Me

Harper loves to sing. Her favorites are "Jesus Loves Me" and "Peace like a River". Last Sunday she had the opportunity to sing "Peace like a River" at the 10:00 a.m. church service, poor Harps got stage fright and just stood there watching her sister jump off the stairs on the altar.

Orange Armed Hays

Not sure why the picture rotated, but that is Hays with his brand new orange cast. Monday night Hays fell off the couch and broke his arm. It wasn't a bad break and Dr. Baker said the cast is mainly to help protect him from doing further damage to his arm. He's doing fine and starting to get used to the next three weeks of life with a cast.

Month in Review . .

Just a few pictures that I took yesterday after church and a graduation party. These were the first pictures that I've taken with my newly repaired camera. I've had the camera back for almost two weeks and hadn't snapped one picture. We were plagued with the stomach bug for 10 days, 10 LONG days.
