Breakfast of Champions

I always said that I wasn't going to be a short order cook- well I'm starting to eat my words for BREAKFAST ONLY and only when it comes to toast days. We usually have toast 2 times a week. The only problem is everyone wants something different. Hadlee likes jelly only, Harper prefers cheese, and Hays like peanut butter and jelly. The girls like peanut butter but usually not for breakfast with their toast. We sometimes do peanut butter and bananas, which is a favorite of all three.

Notice that all three have different ways of consuming their toast. Hadlee likes to lick off her jelly and then sometimes eats her toast. Harper prefers to eat the cheese with some of her bread. Then there is Hays- Hays just tackles it and can sometimes put down two pieces.

Independent Two Year Olds

Today I let the girls select their own clothes and shoes. They usually get to pick shoes from prior selected ones by me. They did pretty well!!






Morning book reading. Harper is now the stripper of the group.

I know it's a little girlie but next time I'll do something just for Hays. I'll download pictures sometime this afternoon if the kids nap long enough.

Sometimes I let the kids ride on my back while I crawl around the sofa. Today after I gave all three a ride, Harper decided that her sissy could give her another ride.

Girl's Night Out

Hadlee, Harper, Rosemary and Mommy had a girl's night out on Friday. We went out to eat, went shopping(like our new $2 pajamas), painted our fingernails and read new books. Hays was enjoying his weekend in Victoria thanks to Shannon, Mema and Auntie C.

Harper loved getting her nails dried by the hairdryer. The first picture was at the beginning and the next was after she had her nails dried- she was in love with the warmth!
