Pictures from playing this morning with Samir. Harper had a rough morning and we think she now has an ear infection. We won't be back in Brenham until next week so she's just going to start taking antibiotics. The kids had a blast playing in the leaves, jumping in the bouncer and playing in the sandbox.

More Christmas Pictures

What a difference a year makes when it comes to opening presents! The kiddos knew exactly what to do when they saw presents, only a problem when they were opening up ones that shouldn't be opened. It's amazing how fast mom can rewrap Santa presents for cousin Hannah before she gets to Mema's house. Mom and Dad already figured out that next year Hadlee, our observant one, would question why Mema has the same wrapping paper as Santa.

Merry Christmas

We hope everyone has a wonderful Merry Christmas. Here are some pictures from tonight at Aunt Cynthia and Uncle Kelly's house- we got a jump start on present opening.

Sorry for the lack of posting but we were sick for 10 days, 10 long terrible days. I'm pretty sure everyone got two viruses during this time. Once I thought things were getting better someone would have fever. They were miserable, I was tested beyond what my patience could handle. Besides bad coughs, Hadlee, Hays and Harper are happy and well for Christmas.

I'll write more later. Sick kids since Friday.....

In a perfect world we would have pictures from Santa story time at the library. Guess that's why we're far from perfect in this mayhem w/ almost 3 30 month olds. I did manage to take pics before we went to the library. The kids had a great time with snacks and singing with Ms. LuLu, which were the first two activities that they did in their rotation. Then we went into the regular storytime room to have storytime w/Ms. Linda and Hays went nuts.(I was going to say cry but that wouldn't have done justice to the fit he threw!) Wade took Hays outside to calm down while the girls and I stayed in storytime. Why did Hays cry? We're really not sure- maybe it was close to their bedtime or maybe he doesn't like the way Ms. Linda reads books. Guess we'll find out when Ms. Lulu goes on vacation. BTW- Hays got to see Santa in the parking lot.

Naps have been crazy this week. Hays just went to sleep and Harper just did her "Harper cry", which means she'll be up in 30-45 minutes. I didn't realize how important naps were to ME!! I've got to start thinking about life without naps. . . . . .

Bathing Beauties

Pictures from bath time last night and hanging out this morning. I had to get a new camera yesterday. My old camera broke due to my negligence. Wade watched the kiddos while I went into Houston to get one on Sunday. He didn't realize it would take me 4 hours. It was nice to get a break and go shopping. Hadlee is starting to get into picture taking, now it's Hay's turn.
Post more pictures tomorrow- we've got story time w/ Santa tonight at the library. It should be fun, the kids get wear their pjs.

Thanksgiving

Hannah and Amy (I only took two pictures on Thanksgiving- this is the 1st, I'll post the 2nd later this week)
Hadlee helping make cupcakes for her daddy's birthday

The fog is starting to lift from our week in Victoria. I remember telling someone that I don't remember being so sleep deprived in a long time. We thought it was teething- five days later, we finally have an answer COXSACKIE VIRUS or Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease. Hays had it and we just chalked it up to teething, still not sure about Hadlee because she's tends to be fussy and hasn't had any symptoms. Miss Harper cracked the case with extreme fussiness, refusal to drink or eat and a nasty mouth sore. Poor thing I just got back from trying to calm her and get me some more free time. Wish us luck, hopefully we'll be back to normal in a couple of days.

Poinsettia Pics

Pictures from the poinsettia festival at Ellison's Nursery in Brenham. These pictures were taken in one of their greenhouses. Shannon and crew braved the crowds with us. We both got some great pictures with help from some lollipops. Hadlee and Kaylen got their pops even though they didn't sit on Santa's lap.

More Bluebell Pics

We bought Bluebell's "Great Divide" no sugar added ice cream when we went to HEB on Thursday. I usually get a two pints one for Wade (rocky road) and one for me and they are suppose to last us all weekend. I decided that we should treat the kids and myself to ice cream this weekend so I bought a big container and Wade still got his pint.
The pictures speak for themselves. Harper gobbled hers up fast. Hadlee came in second and Hays took forever to finish his. These pictures were taken after naps- don't you love Harper's bedhead!
