Salmon Creek

We spent Sunday morning with a walk to Salmon Creek.  The 3 mile walk from Ed and Cyndy's house was beautiful and a great way to start the day.

On our walk back to the house, the girls ate blackberries that were growing along the walking trails.

Vintage Baseball at Fort Vancouver

Saturday evening we made our way to Fort Vancouver to take part in a throwback 1860s baseball game.   

The Vancouver Occidentals were Vancouver's original baseball team.  Here is their striker up to bat.

Cyndy took Hadlee and I on a tour of Officer's Row.  Hadlee had to get a picture of a wedding reception and the wedding cake(you can barely see it through the front door).

We had a walking and driving tour of Fort Vancouver, this monument is of the first trans-polar flight from Moscow.  It was en-route to San Francisco but had to make an emergency landing at Pearson Field.
