Community Fest

We started our weekend with a little supper at our favorite place in New Braunfels, Freiheit Country Store. After a two hour wait, Hays consumed an entire hamburger! Go Beef

We thought our weekend was filled with nothing so we had plans for San Antonio adventures...Then one of the girls remembered that Hays had baseball and it was the FREE Community Fest downtown. Everything is free and it's lots of fun. Hadlee playing "Alligator Plinko".

Hays bobbing for apples. Thank goodness no one got sick after doing it!

Their school sends home a coloring sheet home for the kids to color and bring to the fest for cotton candy.  In true Wilson fashion, we are procrastinators!   Hurry and color so we can get our cotton candy.

Hays made it all the way to the top and rang the bell.  He was very proud of himself!

Hays came in second in the icecream eating contest.

Harper and Hadlee were in no hurry because it was a little cold for one of their favorite treats.

The girls wanted their picture in the pumpkin patch and they even got to pick one out and paint it.

I didn't get a picture of the kids designing pictures for the Vote Seguin campaign.  They each made a picture and the one Hadlee created got her two free admissions to ZDTs!

Water Fun in October

Water play is one of the kids favorite things to do when we are at home on the weekend.   It's even been chilly on some of the days but that doesn't stop them.  Today the slip-in-slide broke, I tried to reassure them that water play is almost over until the spring.   Harper and Hadlee  have learned to tie balloons so water balloon play has been in full force.

Slippin' and sliding

Car washing is fun.

Hang in' a little low, Hays.
