MOPS Hayride and Picnic- A little about our week

Pictures from today's hayride and picnic with MOPS. We had a long morning with meltdowns from Hadlee and Harper. I contemplated taking them out. After a nap by Hadlee on the way, they had fun. The first two pictures are from the hayride. I tried to take them myself with three kids sitting on my lap. Some of the other moms took pictures of them, if they turn out good I'll download them.

We didn't get home until 2:00, 2 hours after their normal nap time usually begins. I put them in bed, all THREE now have crib tents, and Harper didn't go to sleep until 3:15. I just went into their room and there was a strong odor as soon as I opened the door. Another first to add to our week, Harper had pooped and yes, her diaper was off!! Thank goodness nothing was on her sheets and her blankets are now in the washing machine.

Just to fill you in on our week. We've had a first from Hadlee and Hays. Hays is now the proud owner of a crib tent. His sisters have been in their tents for months and I think Hays just figured out how to get a tent of his own-ESCAPE from his crib. Wade and I thought we might not need the 3rd crib tent we purchased back in March.

Hadlee shocked Wade and I by roaming the house in the middle of the night. Wednesday morning at 1:30 a.m., Wade woke up because he thought he heard something in the house. (Wade sleeps through everything) He got up and heard the fan in the kid's room. We always keep the door closed so he went to check on them. Hays and Harper were sleeping and Hadlee was no where to be found. He checked in the playroom and in the living room- no Hadlee. He looked in the dining room and there was Hadlee's nemo blanket and Hadlee underneath it. Wade woke me up, just so I would believe him. We took Hadlee back to bed. The next morning when I turned on the lights in the kitchen, Hadlee was covered up on the couch. She smiled as I moved the blanket from her face and was ready to take her paci and blanket back to her bed.

This morning I heard lots of noise over the monitor starting at 5:30 a.m. I 'm really not sure who got in bed with who or what they were doing. I do know that Harper had Hadlee's dolls and Hays had Hadlee's blanket in his bed. I don't know if we're going to have to keep the tents zipped during the night. . . . keep you posted . . . . . . FYI- We started unzipping the tents to help Harper with her crying. It definitely has helped with her crying when she wakes up from her nap. She still gives me her early morning cry and that's all!
