Look what we've been doing!

We've had a great summer! Wade went back to work last week but we had plenty of "friends", as Hays referred to them, over during the transition- Uncle Don, Mema, Papa, Hannah and Aunt Ro. Aunt Ro stayed for three days and let Wade and I have a much needed date night on Friday.

The last couple of weeks have been the best ever- as far as the kids playing together. I really do understand what people mean when they say they'll always have someone to play with because it finally happened for us. All three have been playing together for long periods of time and mommy doesn't know what to do with herself. In the past the girls would play together but Hays was never really included until now.

Wow, it's fun and they are having a blast. If we're gone all morning, as soon as we get home they will start their "playtime". "Playtime" usually involves getting the strollers and grocery cart and going to their table to act something out. Most times that involves going to Cici's, HEB, CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, the Mall, Church or MOPS. They can play like this for a good hour. I've noticed that the girls tend to fight less since they've been playing more with Hays. Wade and I think this could be because both girls get to boss around Hays.

On a not so positive note, potty training is going to be the end of me! About a month ago Hadlee started having accidents about once a day. I was a little concerned but it was wasn't that bad because they were only when we were at home. When we were gone for two weeks she had one accident after her nap. Since we've been back home she's had accidents almost everyday.

Yesterday I threw my hands up in the air and confessed to Wade that she won, I give up. I can't wait until Hays is wearing his big boy pants because that is pretty much why she's giving me such a hard time. She'll have an accident, then go get a pull-up or sometimes a diaper. The other day I decided 0.that only "big girls" could have their fingernails and toes painted. Harper got her fingernails and toenails painted but Hadlee couldn't until she had one day with no accidents. Hadlee loves her nails and toes painted so I knew it wouldn't take long for her to figure it out. On Monday Hadlee didn't have any accidents so Tuesday was her day to get her toes painted red with pink polka dots. If you've seen the picture of Hays below- Hadlee never got her toes painted red. . . .

Hays color is definitely "red"

Harper and Hadlee going to school, they just figured out that they really work.

We play follow the leader!

Concert time! Hadlee captured it all on her camera!
