We started off Halloween excited to go to school!
Well maybe not everyone. Harper got sent home from school for running a fever. (and maybe being a little grumpy)
A TLU Softball player,
Frankenstein
and a 50s girl.
The entire family had a memorable night. We went over to the Mrs. Yeats' house, where the kids played and played until it was trick or treat time. The kids ran from house to house with their new friends. We were even treated to our first "haunted house". The driveways were pretty long so the adults just stayed on the street. At one house Hays starts singing "Trick or treat smell my feet give me something good to eat. If you don't I don't care, I'll pull down your panties...." It's crazy where they get this stuff. At another house we hear "Hi Hays" and it catches our attention and then you hear the girls start talking and talking. It was Mrs. Smithers, the kindergarten teacher that is next door to them at school. The kids were overjoyed and a maybe on a little of a sugar high....but they were on top of the world until they drifted off to sleep.
