Hadlee sewing up her nightgown with help from Aunt Ro.

Tree climbing

Brenham day trip, Must be Heaven

And Bluebell

Picture in front of my room before church in her last smocked dress.

Game time, Spell down.

Dog eating an apple.

Hadlee sitting on her pillow after a metal rod empaled her in the bottom.  It was nasty and she was hurting for the rest of the week.

Hays walking laps in the backyard.   Their new rule is after getting your planner signed two times in one week, it's a chore and 20 minutes of walking.  The chores weren't enough of a consequence      .   Hays got his planner signed for a 3rd time on Friday and started unloading the dishwasher and then doing pacers.   I didn't have to say a word.

Birthday party shopping!   The girls were so excited to have a morning of clothes shopping.

TLU baseball game.   The kids must have made 5 trips back and forth from the field to the house to get things and make signs.

Hip hip hooray!

Three weeks ago, Harper made the comment that she was saving up $100 for an alarm that would help her not have accidents at night.   I had showed her these on Amazon but didn't really think they would work.   Fast forward.....to this morning, over two weeks of dry mornings and no pullups.   Daddy and I looked at each other after the first alarm sounded and thought we were back to baby monitors and sleepless nights. It jolted me out of bed and he came running from the couch.   She still remembers nothing the next morning after the alarms goes off but she's getting better at hearing it and sleepwalking to the bathroom.    Yeah Wet-Stop-3!

Happy Valentine's Day

The kids ready for school.  They worked really hard on their boxes.   The girls found Pinterest and decided to give this idea a try.   The only thing I helped with was covering the boxes and cutting out the letters.

I was still busy making food for their party.  Next time I told the kids that they needed to volunteer for plates and napkins.   They picked what they wanted to bring and Hadlee volunteered chocolate covered strawberries.   Harper took 12 breakfast tacos, which we picked up @ 6:30 this morning.   Hays picked out watermelon and pineapple, which look pitiful this time of the year.

A little V-day water play is always, Fun!

In order to avoid the crowds, we dined at Taco Cabana.  The kids were dressed and ready for the BB game.   They dropped me off at home and I enjoyed a relaxed evening by myself.

Weekend Fun

When I put these pictures together from our recent weekends, I noticed that most of the pictures are of Hadlee.

Hadlee cleaning the car.

Hadlee looking for "Huber" up at the softball field.

Making heart brownies and cookies for the softball girls.

Superbowl Sunday

It was cold so Daddy got out the "big guns" to get our fire started in the fireplace.

It was our first fireplace fire and the kids really enjoyed it.

Icecream might melt a little faster this way.

Quick trip to V

We made a quick trip to Victoria to check on Mema now that she is out of the hospital.  Of course Hannah and Haidyn were a bonus to the trip.

My favorite picture of the boys!

Mema is getting better and her calendar is getting packed again.

Saving Grace

The kids' class adopted a dog after they visited the Humane Society last month.   They made posters to help spread the word.  Hadlee took posters up to TLU in hopes that Grace would be adopted.

The newspaper even showed up to take pictures of Grace.   Harper got an interview with the paper and Hadlee got her picture in it.   They were both over the moon.

Grace got adopted!!   Yeah!

Snow Morning #2

I don't know if you would call it snow, ice or "dippin' dots".    I called it an extra 10 minutes of sleep in the morning and two less hours with my students.   The kids freaked out when they woke up because they thought they were going to be late for school.  They took my phone to take some pictures of the "snow".
