Thanksgiving
Hannah and Amy (I only took two pictures on Thanksgiving- this is the 1st, I'll post the 2nd later this week)

Hadlee helping make cupcakes for her daddy's birthday
The fog is starting to lift from our week in Victoria. I remember telling someone that I don't remember being so sleep deprived in a long time. We thought it was teething- five days later, we finally have an answer COXSACKIE VIRUS or Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease. Hays had it and we just chalked it up to teething, still not sure about Hadlee because she's tends to be fussy and hasn't had any symptoms. Miss Harper cracked the case with extreme fussiness, refusal to drink or eat and a nasty mouth sore. Poor thing I just got back from trying to calm her and get me some more free time. Wish us luck, hopefully we'll be back to normal in a couple of days.

Poinsettia Pics
Pictures from the poinsettia festival at Ellison's Nursery in Brenham. These pictures were taken in one of their greenhouses. Shannon and crew braved the crowds with us. We both got some great pictures with help from some lollipops. Hadlee and Kaylen got their pops even though they didn't sit on Santa's lap.
More Bluebell Pics
We bought Bluebell's "Great Divide" no sugar added ice cream when we went to HEB on Thursday. I usually get a two pints one for Wade (rocky road) and one for me and they are suppose to last us all weekend. I decided that we should treat the kids and myself to ice cream this weekend so I bought a big container and Wade still got his pint.
The pictures speak for themselves. Harper gobbled hers up fast. Hadlee came in second and Hays took forever to finish his. These pictures were taken after naps- don't you love Harper's bedhead!

What do we do from 12-2 EVERYDAY?
Nap time is our sanity......
This morning it seemed they wanted to nap during playtime in the garage. Hadlee started with laying down on a storage tub. Harper and Hays followed along and I covered them up with pillowcases. Their little 5 minute break turned all three into fussy kids until lunchtime. I LOVE Naps and so do they!!

Water fun in November!
I lost my camera battery last Sunday. Shannon let me borrow her camera for the weekend. Rosemary and I spent one afternoon looking for the battery- Ellie came this morning and of course she was able to find it right where I left it!
So the weather has been perfect for some outdoor water play. We filled the kiddie pool up on Friday and Sunday and the kids had a blast!! The bottom picture of Harper was from this morning after the park. It seems I'm not the best at planning because how could I forget diapers and wipes for three kids!! (I'll have to post our attempts (or lack) at potty training) There was no way I was going to let three dirty kids in my clean house. They could obviously care less if the water was a little cold.

Pics from the Weekend
Saturday afternoon at Nail's State Park (no one got into the water!)
Sunday afternoon at Shannon and Key's house. There were seven kids in all- our 3 had a blast! Hays eating a hot dog. It looks like it could have the meat in it but it was just bread and cheese. Harper is giving Baby Tad a hug before bed. The time change is going o.k.- they were in bed at 7 o'clock and asleep by 7:30. We'll see what tomorrow brings . . .

Halloween '07
Halloween 2
Halloween 2
Harper and Hays playing with Diego while Hadlee puts a diaper on the penguin while I carved the pumpkin.
More pics from our Halloween adventure. We started the afternoon off with an attempt to carve a pumpkin. My helpers one by one headed into the garage then Hays came to me with a box. The box had been left by Terri before their nap and I didn't even have a chance to look at it. I asked the kids if they wanted to carve the pumpkin or go inside and open the box. All three said "Inside" so we headed inside so Mom could open the box. The next two hours were filled with playing with their new Diego toy and uninterrupted pumpkin carving.
We ate a good supper that everyone liked so no one would get fussy or hungry for candy. I figured I had one more shot to have 3 cows or 3 monkeys while getting costumes out of the closet. Hays and Hadlee were set on being monkeys and Harper definitely wanted to be a cow. While I'm making supper for Wade, (or heating it up) Harper starts screaming like we had never heard her. She handed Wade a bee and in the process got stung. Fifteen minutes before we need to be ready for Trick or Treat and Harper's thumb is getting huge and we can't get her to stop screaming! After we medicate Harper, she's in an o.k. mood but doesn't want anything to do with her costume. Oh well, we get the other two dressed and finally Harper decides she's ready to be a cow. The doorbell rings and the "trick-or-treating" begins. Hadlee and Harper really got into handing candy out to the kids. Hays just wanted to play with Diego.
After the kids got home from visiting the neighbors and getting more candy than Wade and I could possibly eat in a week, we let them eat a lollipop. (dumdum) Harper probably had 4 plus more candy-she loved eating candy. Hays had his dumdum and was back in the house playing with Diego and Hadlee took her time eating hers. At eight o'clock Wade took Hadlee's dumdum away because it was time to brush teeth and go to sleep. I promised Hadlee that we would get candy in the morning. The next morning they had to get their costumes on to eat their dumdums. It took Hadlee an hour to finish her one piece of candy and that was after I ate half of it!!
