Visits from Family

The last couple of weeks have been busy and we've got to enjoy some special time with family from far away and with some not so far from us.

Cousin Cyndy from Washington came to visit a couple of weekends ago. She got to meet Hadlee, Harper and Hays for the first time. They spent the morning hanging out then got to go out to eat, mexican food, of course. Aunt Ro and Uncle Don were entertaining the kiddos for the weekend and were happy to get to visit and get an extra hand for the chaos since Mommy and Daddy were out of town. Cousin Gregory also came for the day, it's always extra fun when he comes to our house to visit. The weather was yucky and we didn't get any pictures but I know the kiddos had a great time. They're still talking about it. Cyndy brought gifts, which were a big hit, Hadlee is showing off her fashion sense with the lime green boa. For the girl that doesn't like a lot of clothes on, she had some layers on this morning. (she zipped the jacket herself, and called for help when she wanted it off)

On Monday Mema and Papa dropped by to take us to supper and then to Daddy's softball game. We were entertained by Hadlee and the boa. She disappeared for a while, then she reappeared wearing only necklaces, her panties and the boa. She did a dance then ran behind the armoire to take off her panties and necklaces. For her encore performance she came back out singing and taking off her boa, yes, that's right she ended up NAKED. We were definitely entertained by Hadlee Ray! I think Papa was a little in shock by his stripping granddaughter!!!

Nana, Aunt Sue and Emily came to visit on Tuesday. They'd been shopping in Round Top since Saturday and were ready to take a break to spend the morning with us and take us to lunch. Nana had shopped for all three and they got loaded up on some spring and summer outfits and bling bling sneakers. I guess the girls did, they couldn't find much for Hays. We even tried to get some new camo crocs at Antique Gypsy, and there was nothing for him.

We joined them on Wednesday to take in some shopping. The kids did great, we lasted from 10 until 2. By the end we had lots of meltdowns but nothing that a little sleep didn't cure. Hays wanted maps and Harper wanted an expensive purse. I thought about going back this morning and buying the purse for Easter....I think I'll save my $50....

The highlights for the kiddos were the cupcakes and squeezing their own lemons for lemonade. Thanks for letting us join you, Nana and Aunt Sue!

Howdy from Cousin Cyndy. I had as much fun with the Ha Ha Ha kids as they did! What a trio they are! And, sorry to have missed seeing Mom and Dad, but having Don and Ro there was the next best thing. Has Hays figured out his Rubic cube yet? I hope the girls are still enjoying their boas and bling. Happy Easter to everyone!! May the Bunny leave some fun confetti eggs to add good luck to the day...
